Your Most Effective Content Strategy for Growth

Your Most Effective Content Strategy for Growth

If you want to build a successful social media presence, merely accumulating more followers is not the answer. To increase your reach and influence, you also need a content strategy that encompasses storytelling via video.

This means you have to know what you’re selling.

By this, I’m not referring to the product itself, but instead what the product represents. If you’re selling an air fryer, for example, you’re not selling the thing, you’re selling health. The air fryer is the vehicle, and health is the product. This is why most content out there doesn’t resonate with consumers—because the copy is written to sell the “thing” while ignoring a prospect’s desired outcome.

Does that make sense?

If your content marketing has failed in the past, there is also a good chance you don’t know how to hook your audience. The key to the success of any content strategy is implementing simple and proven processes, which include an effective hook.

Effective copy coupled with engaging video is a powerful combination. If correctly implemented, this form of content has the ability to increase your revenue exponentially. But most people are afraid to get in front of the camera over some irrational fear. Is this you? Fear often stems from not knowing what you are doing. With a well-scripted video, you will be better prepared and know where you are going. This will go a long way in helping to alleviate fear.

I’ve prepared a video presentation that outlines exactly what you need to do to write your video scripts.

Your homework is to learn your prospect’s pain points and determine how your product or service solves them. I also want you to figure out exactly what you sell—the desires your product satisfies. A list of these pain points and desires will help when it comes time to craft your video. Remember to keep this exercise short and simple. And I’ll see you in the next video.
